Job Description

We are now looking for an HSEQ Manager to join our HSEQ team in Vantaa. Our team is responsible for building and developing the Valves Business Area globally certified integrated HSEQ management system aligned with operation models, processes, strategy, company policies and with conformity to different industrial standards.

As HSEQ Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, updating and developing the integrated HSEQ Management system procedures and guidelines. You will manage, co-ordinate and develop Valves HSEQ internal audit process:

• Prepare Audit schedule
• Collect focus areas & get approval for internal and third-party audit schedule
• Collect support material for auditors and  communicate to network
• Manage and coordinate audit pool, i.e. sufficient number of trained auditors globally, train new auditors, maintain training material and skills-matrix
• Follow audit findings and if global NC’s then take needed actions and communicate to network
• Collect feedback from auditees as well as from auditors
• Participate in reporting to the Valves management

You will co-ordinate valves HSEQ management system’s third party audits and act as a contact person towards certification body in practical issues.  

HSEQ Manager’s role is also to manage and coordinate the certification projects with new locations, to train and communicate HSEQ Management system issues and to build a capable and active HSEQ Network. As much as you will be responsible of the HSEQ knowledge of others, you will also develop your own skills and competences needed in this position.

To Succeed

To be successful in this position, you should have relevant experience in HSEQ as well as previous experience in working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.

You are an experienced auditor. You have good knowledge in process management and HSE approaches. We also appreciate knowledge in LEAN and in the areas of Sustainability. 

You work passionately for continuous improvement and you are willing to take responsibility in your own area of expertise. Your collaboration and communication skills are convincing and you speak and write fluent English; Finnish skills are a plus.

This position also requires willingness to travel internationally (10-20% of work schedule).
