Bynfo offers the entire range of BI services from data warehouse management, reporting and analytics to assessing performance, business and financial planning and forecasting. We are looking for a reporting and analytics expert to carry out lifecycle analyses for our customers, on the basis of the data they use in their business. Our reporting and analytics experts engage in the assessment of requirements, analysis, data processing and modeling as well as visualization; they also have a key role in determining how data is used in resource planning.

We are looking for candidates with 3-6 years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, BI Analyst or Data Expert. The ideal candidate will understand the role of data in resource planning and be able to communicate with the customer in a manner that supports business growth and can create new business opportunities. We expect you to have university-level education in statistics, accounting or industrial engineering and management. Equivalent skills acquired through another route may also be considered in the recruitment process.

We expect you:

• To be analytical and have the ability to assess needs, analyze data to draw conclusions, find trends, and present results in a consistent manner
• To be digitally literate, have a basic understanding of BI architecture and knowledge of the key BI applications (e.g. SAP BI/BW, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik)
• To be able to carry out configuration, parameterization and possibly also programming tasks
• To be able to compile comprehensible documents from data, present results, and express complex ideas
• To think critically when assessing figures, trends, and data in order to draw new conclusions based on your observations
• To be meticulous and careful
• To have been responsible for the execution of at least 1-2 projects

It would also be an advantage if:

• You had experience in financial administration consulting or processes
• You had excellent mathematical skills, such as knowledge of statistical methods
• You were familiar with business processes and their functional content
