Aalto University’s communications services is seeking for an experienced and motivated EVENT CURATOR
Your role and goals
The Event Curator is the first and omni-channel point of contact for everyone who wants to arrange an event at Marsio building, the latest addition to Otaniemi campus. Your day consists of event calendar curation, resource bookings and coordination of event needs, services and functions. The Event Curator is the important liaison between the event producers and all the technical & service staff needed for events. Constant development of the functions based on feedback is an important part of the job.
Your experience and ambitions
You are an experienced producer who knows the secrets of event organising and you are not afraid to work independently while still being a reliable team player. You shine as the deadline is getting closer and you are capable of scanning and reorganizing priorities on the go. You find your way through changing situations without any drama with the help of your great people skills and keeping the big picture in mind while working on the details. You have a suitable higher educational degree, and your communications and IT skills are your main assets. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. We appreciate your Finnish and Swedish skills as well.

The salary range for this position, following the the Salary System for Finnish Universities, is 3500–3700€ per month. We work in a hybrid way, and our primary workplace is in Otaniemi, Espoo. Life at the transformed campus is vibrant and filled with amazing architecture, calming nature, and a variety of cafes, restaurants, services and good connections along the metro line.
