MTV/TV4 is looking for a Content Controller to manage financial processes for our News, Current Affairs, and Sports productions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, cross-border team, collaborating with colleagues in both Finland and Sweden while reporting to the Head of Business Control at TV4 in Sweden.

As a Content Controller

at MTV/TV4, your responsibilities include various Budgeting and Forecasting responsibilities such as developing and managing production budgets, forecasts and financial reports. Analyzing expenses, track variances, and providing financial insights is also part of the key responsibilities. You will prepare and update rolling 12-month forecasts monthly, ensuring financial projections are continuously updated based on the latest data.

Furthermore, you will have responsibilities related to Expense and Vendor Management such as monitoring personnel costs including payroll, accruals, and journal vouchers. You will be ensuring accurate cost allocation and invoice tracking.

You will be working closely with TVM Controlling and Finance teams for smooth financial operations, acting as the main contact for vendors and Finance, managing invoice accuracy and production codes. Providing financial guidance to management and support in ad-hoc analyses when needed is part of your role.

Is this you?

We are looking for a finance professional with experience in financial controlling, budgeting, and reporting, ideally within the media or production industry. You should have strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Proficiency in SAP, Hypergene, and Microsoft Dynamics is essential, and experience working with Power BI, both as a user and developer, is considered a strong advantage.

To thrive in this role, you need to be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling large volumes of financial data while continuously improving processes. Strong collaboration skills are key, as you will work closely with colleagues across different teams and countries.

In addition, we value numerical accuracy, good pressure tolerance when working within tight schedules, interest in developing working methods and good interaction skills.  In an international environment, in addition to Finnish, you communicate fluently in English.
