Research and teaching assistant positions in Marine and Arctic Technology (MAT) Group

The MAT group at the Department of Energy and Mechanical Engineering conducts research on  diverse topics such as  advanced marine structures, data mining and machine learning for ship intelligence,, ship performance in ice, marine and ship systems modelling, ice mechanics, ice-structure interaction, and numerical modeling of sea ice dynamics and deformation. We now have research and teaching assistant positions open exclusively for Aalto bachelor and master level students, who are interested in research on various topics of our group or working as a teaching assistant on our courses.

These positions provide an excellent opportunity to gain research experience and insight into academic work. Research assistant positions are full-time and last approximately three months over the summer. Teaching assistant positions are part-time, with hours varying depending on the course schedule. Since our group is international, we require the applicants to speak fluent English.
