We are looking for

Senior Scrum Master

to work  in Nico for our customer Metso's integration team and involve coaching teams within Metso IT and other Infrastructure teams.  As a Senior Scrum Master, you will embody the role of a servant leader using Scrum Framework plus an agile mindset, serving as a beacon to coach, mentor, training this team to jump over the hump to become a high-performing team. Your mission is to not only coach and guide this team to continuously delivery after every Sprint but also to deepen through your proactive coaching all the agile concepts and knowledge throughout the Metso organization. 

Allocation and schedule: Expected allocation is 100%. The person is supposed to join the project immediately and the first assignment will be until end of September 2025.

Location: Espoo or remote. Flexibility to work across different time zones is expected.  

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Owners, coaching both your POs on the concepts and development teams to become high-performing cross-functional teams that continuously deliver high-quality integrations delivering quality Data that serves other Metso front end solutions.
• Serve as the torchbearer for scrum framework and other agile principles and values, fostering a culture of pro-active collaboration, flexibility and adaptability.
• Collaborate with the Agile Coaching team within Metso to continuously evolve the already establish an efficient pool of agile coaches and the Metso agile ways of working.
• Remove barriers and impediments by facilitating effective problem-solving workshops to collect the activities and guiding conflict resolution to ensure team success.
• Guide teams to evolve through continuous retrospectives and team data-driven insights.
• Foster a psychologically safe, productive, and enjoyable work environment for your team and for the teams collaborating with it.
• Shape cross-functional team practices that nurture collaboration, drive constant and pro-active innovation that drives the team to excellence.
• Nurture the use of lean principles and efficient tools, processes, and practices that consistently deliver value with minimal waste.
• There is a transformation. You would need to challenge the status quo and be critical when it comes to identifying the problems hindering/blocking these teams and prepositive to get to working on solutions. 

Your Experience and Background:

• Proven 2-3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner in an Agile environment (Scaled Agile Inc. SAFe experience is a bonus). 
• Coaching teams implementing Application integration on MuleSoft, CRM, SalesForce is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and efficient with scrum methodologies, with the ability to adapt practices to meet evolving business needs.
• Excellent in communication 1 to 1 and 1 to many specially with focusing on problem-solving. 
• Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships in an international, multi-cultural, global setting.
• A passion for facilitating change and having the courage to do what is right, influencing teams towards lean and efficient ways of working.
• Experience working with IT infrastructure (strong in application Integrations, servers, cloud, enterprise applications and the interactions with business stakeholders using these applications integrations in the front end).
• Few Scrum Master courses and knowledge of Scaled Agile Inc. Framework is a plus.

• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration and backlog management tools.
• Courage to identify and address problems head-on, helping teams overcome obstacles.
• Resilience and self-leadership skills to navigate a complex environment.
• A passion for continuous improvement – making things better is in your DNA.

• Teams are delivering business value in terms of good quality DATA through fully E2E implemented application integrations with increased velocity and quality after every iteration.
• Teams are self-organizing and continuously improving the platform delivery and the ways of working. 
• You have coached a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust is nurtured within the organization and across all the interacting teams.
