We are now seeking a dynamic Field Service Resource Planner to join our Marine Agreements Resources team. This role is offered as a permanent contract, and the selected candidate will be based in Finland, Poland, Hungary, or the UK. 

This position will report to Andrea Tejada, Team Leader Field Service Planning, based in Panama. To facilitate collaboration with colleagues in various time zones worldwide, this role demands a high level of adaptability regarding working hours. Therefore, we offer highly flexible remote work opportunities.

What will you be doing?

The P&FS Marine Agreements Resource team oversees Field Service resourcing for two extensive maintenance agreements with Marine customers. As Field Service Resource Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimising the utilisation of our Field Service personnel, ensuring that the right resources with the right competencies are available and assigned to service jobs when needed.

Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to: 

  • Booking resource requests for Field Service work orders using the Planning Board.
  • Coordinating visas, medicals, travel, and other logistics to ensure optimal use and availability of Field Service personnel.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of personnel details.
  • Assisting the Operations Coordinator by providing regular feedback from completed jobs.
  • Supporting the booking of training sessions for Field Service personnel.
  • Maintaining the Field Service resource planning tool.
  • Ensuring all information is up to date in the Professional Skills Management tool.
  • Balancing the workload and utilisation of personnel.
  • Communicating with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with other departments (CAC, CM, Sales, etc.) to ensure excellent service delivery to customers.
  • Adhering to the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines.

The below will enable you to succeed in this role:

  • BSc in Engineering, Administration, or a related field, or qualifications gained through work experience.  
  • Experience in Field Service or Service Delivery related roles.
  • Exceptional administrative, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Understanding of technical terminology and the scope of service jobs to ensure accurate resource allocation.
  • Ability to work independently with a self-directed approach.
  • Service-oriented, friendly, and helpful approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work in a global and virtually led team.
  • Proficient English language skills are required, Finnish language skills are advantageous.
