This role plays a part in ensuring smooth IT operations, supporting hardware requests, and contributing to sustainability efforts through effective asset lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities <ol> <li>Day-to-Day Operations and Ticket Handling</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Respond to and resolve support tickets related to hardware requests, deployments, and replacements.</li> <li>Ensure timely delivery of hardware to employees and troubleshoot issues as needed.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of ticket resolution and escalate complex issues to the IT Asset Manager.</li> </ul> <ol> <li> Inventory Control</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Monitor and maintain the IT asset inventory, ensuring records are up to date and accurate.</li> <li>Conduct regular audits of hardware inventory to prevent discrepancies and track usage.</li> <li>Assist with stocking, organizing, and labeling IT assets to streamline inventory management.</li> </ul> <ol> <li> Recycling and Disposal Efforts</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Manage the recycling and disposal of decommissioned IT assets in alignment with organizational policies and sustainability goals.</li> <li>Coordinate with vendors or recycling partners for secure and compliant disposal.</li> <li>Track and report on recycling efforts and asset disposal processes to support environmental compliance.</li> </ul> <ol> <li> Hardware Deployment and Replacement</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Support the setup, configuration, and deployment of IT hardware for employees.</li> <li>Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding by preparing and recovering IT assets.</li> <li>Coordinate hardware replacement schedules to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.</li> </ul>   Skills and Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience or familiarity with IT asset management or IT support operations.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of asset management systems and tools is preferred.</li> <li>Proficiency in handling support ticket systems and maintaining detailed documentation.</li> <li>Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.</li> <li>Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory management.</li> </ul> Additional Requirements <ul> <li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).</li> <li>Certification in IT Asset Management or ITIL Foundation is a plus but not required.</li> </ul> This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in IT operations, focusing on hardware management, inventory control, and sustainable asset practices. <h4>Our Helsinki office </h4> RELEXians can be found around the world, but here we’re based in Helsinki.
