Wärtsilä Global Business Services (WGBS) provides reliable, scalable, and standardized services to support core business operations. WGBS partners with businesses to drive continuous improvements in end-to-end processes for enhanced effectiveness, quality, efficiency, and compliance.

We are now looking for an Expert, Admin Billing, to join our Invoice to Cash (ITC) team. This is a permanent position, located in Vaasa, Finland with hybrid remote work possibilities.

In the role of Expert, Admin Billing, you will be participating in managing administrative billing tasks such as implementation, coordination, monitoring, and development of global admin billing, intragroup fee, and bad debt activities and tools, as well as sharing ownership of the process. We offer you an opportunity to work in a small team of experts with diverse expertise in the ITC area having a broad global network consisting of stakeholders in different businesses and global functions as well as enormous learning possibilities.

In this role, your main responsibilities are:

  • Participating in process management by managing and controlling administrative billing activities and personnel including IG fee and bad debt activities
  • Administrating process-related tools, creating and giving input to application change requests, communicating and coordinating actions related to developments, changes and problems related to the tools
  • Coordinating RPA development
  • Participating in global development projects as an Expert, having expert knowledge of the tools and processes within one's own area of responsibility
  • Participating in migrating new Wärtsilä companies within the process scopes
  • Ensuring legal compliance and fulfilment of Wärtsilä Corporation guidelines and other process requirements
  • Ensuring high quality, process performance, harmonisation and continuous development and improvement within the administrative billing processes and tools
  • Preparing and maintaining proper and updated documentation of the process
  • Providing SAP, other related systems and tools, and process-related information, instructions, and best practices
  • Training of different stakeholders globally on administrative billing processes

 
An ideal candidate will have:

  • Financial education – M.Sc or B.Sc
  • Development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Interest in team coordination, coaching and developing teams
  • Independent, proactive, good team player, flexibility
  • Advanced skills in English, Finnish and Swedish are considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication, cooperation, and customer service skills
  • IT skills (e.g. MS Office), knowledge and experience of RPA, AI, Analytics
  • Knowledge and experience in FI/CO and SD modules in SAP
  • Knowledge and experience of administrative billing processes/invoice to cash processes in Wärtsilä
  • Experience working in a shared services environment is an advantage
