Your role

As a Firmware Developer, you will be part of a specialized team working on exciting development projects. You’ll be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining the firmware for Natlink products, including Tracker’s Luna and Bark, GPS devices designed for hunting dogs.

You’ll use your expertise in C programming to develop new features for those products. The firmware development takes place on the Zephyr operating system using Linux-based development tools, and programming is done on the NRF9160 circuit.

You will closely collaborate with a team of six developers, with flexible working arrangements. We expect you to be able to visit the Oulu office occasionally in case you don’t want to sit there every day.

What we’re looking for

• At least a few years of experience in software development, with a passion for firmware development.
• Excellent programming skills with C.
• Experience with the Linux operating system and familiarity with Zephyr.
• Familiarity with the NRF9160 circuit, or similar circuitry, is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Finnish language skills are seen as a plus.
