We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to strengthen the Plant & Cell electrical team at STH. The team is responsible for the electrical systems of the engine test facilities.
In this role, you will have hands-on management of the electrical system. You will support as supervisor of electrical work. You will be working independently and in cooperation with several stakeholders, both internal and external. You are expected to have good communication and coordination skills.

The location for the position is SustainableTechnology Hub, Vaasa.
What you will be doing:
- Securing plant electrical systems operation by maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support in leading electrical contractors/suppliers' work as needed
- Support design work performed by suppliers
- Managing technical documentation
- Purchasing services, equipment and spare parts required for operation and development of the facility
- Support that maintenance is performed on electrical systems following regulations and planned maintenance in electrical discipline.
- Safeguards that work under their responsibility area are executed according to requirements, specifications, instructions, HSE, and the facility’s policies
- Write risk assessments and work permits for electrical work
- Support in training personnel and suppliers to work safely and effectively
- Support the installation, commissioning and safe operation of different electrical and test systems
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in own discipline
- Self-propelling active personality
- Good command of English. Additionally, Finnish and Swedish seen as an advantage
Seen as a benefit:
- Experience in electrical installations, electrical maintenance and electrical commissioning
- S1 Electrical rights or interest to study for the qualification.
- Prior knowledge of medium voltage systems and protection relays is seen as an advantage
- Prior knowledge of Atex is seen as an advantage
