Description of position

We are looking for a proactive Assistant Controller to strengthen Orion's Business Planning and Analytics team.

In this role, you support with financial processes, take ownership of the tasks and systems, have a hands-on attitude and possess a keen eye for development.

As an Assistant Controller, you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Support division controlling in selected controlling and finance duties
  • Assist in monthly closing and rolling planning processes
  • Work closely with key stakeholders in finance, operations and business
  • Support in SAP S4 Hana project rollout
  • Orion's other financial administration tasks and/or projects as part of the Business Planning and Analytics department

The position is permanent and you will report to Head of Business Control, Generics and Consumer Health. We work at Orion in a hybrid manner and your local workstation is in Finland at Espoo office. 

If possible, the position will start during December 2024, but we are flexible regarding the start date.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

  • Degree in Economic Sciences or a related field (or are in final stage studies)
  • Proactive and learning approach
  • Good interaction and communication skills
  • Hands on attitude
  • System and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, ppt) skills

We consider it an advantage to have experience in SAP R/3, SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) or SAP BPC.
