We are looking for a talented, curious, and enthusiastic Game Artist to join our team. This role is a one-year fixed-term position in a hybrid work environment.

You'll work closely with artists, designers, and programmers on our hit game, Merge Gardens, creating beautiful concepts, game art like gameplay items and environment art, while also collaborating with our external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Create beautiful game assets, environments, and characters that align with the game's art direction and goals.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and other artists to ensure quality, consistency and common vision
• Participate in working with external partners by establishing visual targets, and follow up by active feedback together with the art team.
• Utilize best practices in game art and asset management to optimize assets for mobile platforms, ensuring top performance and visual quality.
• Taking ownership of your work, and establishing and maintaining vision of projects with the team

Requirements:

• Experience from previous mobile game projects as a game artist.
• A  strong portfolio demonstrating your skills in creating high-quality game assets in various styles.
• Proficiency in 3d to 2d overpaint workflow using e.g Blender, Maya and Photoshop.
• Proficiency with working from concept to final asset and implementation game art to Unity.
• Self driven and proactive mentality in managing your own work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a minimum hierarchy team environment.
• Skills to communicate and demonstrate your ideas visually.
• Passion for games and a drive to create exceptional visual experiences.
