The Rebot team, part of the Data & AI department at RELEX R&D, is building RELEX's main Generative AI system. In 2024, we launched Rebot (short for RELEX bot) as a preview, both for our customers and internally for our employees. By September 2024, Rebot was already handling over 30,000 questions per month, with usage growing 30% monthly. Now, we're looking for someone to help us take Rebot to the next level by enhancing its ability to analyze customer data, enabling it to take actions within RELEX applications, and scaling its use. Join us as a Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer (Gen AI) in Helsinki, and this is some of what you’ll be doing: <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--flat" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="false" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Make Rebot smarter, more knowledgeable, and more capable</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Improve how we measure the quality of Rebot’s responses and actions, both before and during production</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Help create the world's smartest, most knowledgeable, and capable retail bot.</li> </ul> We’re looking for:. <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--flat" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="false" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong engineering expertise and experience in building and operating Generative AI solutions in production (this is our top priority)</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Pragmatic data science understanding, which is useful for enhancing Rebot's customer data analytics skills and for quality measurement</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">A self-motivated, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you'll be working with both business and engineering teams</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Alignment with <a class="c-link" href="https://www.relexsolutions.com/resources/the-core-values-of-relex/" target="_blank" data-stringify-link="https://www.relexsolutions.com/resources/the-core-values-of-relex/" data-sk="tooltip_parent">RELEX's core values</a></li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section">Considered as bonus:</div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--flat" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="false" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience working with Azure (particularly Azure OpenAI Service and AI Search)</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Knowledge of agentic workflows and tools (for example using Vercel SDK or equivalent tools)</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Understanding of the retail or supply chain industries</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Ability to take on an architect role for the Rebot system (alternatively, we can leave it to others on the team)</li> </ul> Our Helsinki office  RELEXians can be found around the world, but here we’re based in Helsinki.
