Our Finance Team  The RELEX Controlling team consists of 9 professionals working with group reporting, controlling and related financial processes and is a strong part of Group Financial Control & Operations team with 30 people and managing the RELEX’s global financials. As the Compensation Controller, you will independently manage the global commissions and bonus calculations and processes and in your role you will also have a chance to develop the internal processes and control environment. Join us as a Compensation Controller, and this is some of what you’ll be doing:  As the Compensation Controller you are responsible for selected recurring tasks and taking part in the development of the commission and bonus management processes. Your main responsibilities will include:  <ul> <li>Gathering and administering payroll related materials, e.g. regarding commissions, bonuses, options and R&D development </li> <li>Acting as a partner and contact point for commissions, bonuses and option related matters for both internal and external stakeholders, like our People team, personnel and external payroll partners </li> <li>Preparing monthly and yearly commissions, bonus and R&D calculations, validating contents, and managing the payroll items for approvals and payments </li> <li>Developing selected payroll processes and systems </li> <li>Managing the monthly and yearly system updates for payroll processing together with system operator </li> <li>Supporting team and stakeholders as needed, e.g. with payroll related analysis and reporting, investigating external and internal inquiries related to payroll  </li> <li>Assisting with other selected financial management and controlling related tasks </li> </ul> What you’ll bring to the table:  <ul> <li>Suitable education, e.g. Bachelor’s degree in e.g. accounting or finance </li> <li>You have payroll expertise and experience and want to further develop as a compensation controller </li> <li>You enjoy independent work, you can be firm and work under set deadlines and pressure without comprising detail and accuracy  </li> <li>You have a service- and solution-oriented attitude and drive to solve any challenges in great collaboration with the stakeholders </li> <li>You have a positive, proactive enthusiastic, and inspiring attitude, as well as good interaction and collaboration skills </li> <li>You are fluent in English and the able to instruct and guide stakeholders in payroll related matters </li> <li>Experience and understanding of accounting, and capability to analyze reporting are major advantages </li> <li>Good level use of excel and previous experience in different finance or accounting software is considered an advantage; we use Performio in commission calculations and our financial ERP is NetSuite  </li> </ul> What we offer you in return:  <ul> <li>A unique chance to join a fast-growing company and an enthusiastic professional finance team  </li> <li>You have ownership of your own working area and can develop as a professional </li> <li>An international career in a rapidly growing software company </li> <li>A fun, committed, flexible and proactive team of smart people to work with </li> <li>Flexible and a true hybrid-working policy (home and office) </li> <li>Extensive physical and wellbeing support </li> <li>A position where you can help retailers fight against food waste  </li> </ul> RELEX Finland RELEXians can be found around the world, but here we’re based in Helsinki.
