We are looking for a General Manager, Business Reporting & Accounting, Energy Storage and Optimisation with the main responsibility of leading ES&O’s global business reporting activities. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also other ES&O key locations in Finland, USA, UK and Australia can be considered. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
Your role
As a General Manager, Business Reporting & Accounting, Energy Storage and Optimisation, you are responsible for ES&O’s global business reporting and accounting activities as well as leading a team of Business Controllers. You will be working as a part of a truly international and growing ES&O Finance and Control team in the exciting renewable energy space.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a global team of business controllers responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual result reporting for Energy Storage and Optimisation (ES&O) including period end closing tasks, result analysis and settlements, order book and POC reporting
- Harmonise ways of working across the team and legal entities where ES&O operates globally
- Develop reporting and processes in collaboration with the wider ES&O team to match business needs going forward
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders
- Lead the analysis of global project cost calculations that are base for ES&O revenue recognition
- Provide ad hoc reports and business analysis to stakeholders
- Oversight of project related re-billing activities, ensuring availability of project estimates for re-billing scopes
- Ensure high data quality and process correctness
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
- B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- Ability to lead a team and work together with multiple different departments to achieve great results together
- Good analytical thinking capability
- Be proactive, a self-starter with the ability to work with demanding tasks under pressure
- Experience in SAP FICO and QlikViev
- Able to handle multiple activities simultaneously, achieve results and orientation towards action
- Continuous improvement oriented working approach with a focus of cutting wasting in what we do
