IT Network Engineer

in Suolahti

What You Will Do

In this position you will be an important member of an international team responsible for implementation of solutions for remote offices and data centers and cloud environments. You will provide also the 3rd level of support for any support issues that arise.You will be presented with broad, general business and architectural goals which you will be achieve using a high degree of intuition and expertise in determining the best means to achieve those goals. You will be solving uncommon, unique and nonrecurring challenges as a part of an international team of experts.  

Your main responsibilities will be to:
    •    Develop and support enterprise-level technical-infrastructure solutions
    •    Assist in the design of an overall architecture for the technical infrastructure
    •    Participate as a team member and/or lead on assigned projects
    •    Facilitate and/or support the resolution of tier II and tier III tickets
    •    With the assistance of peers and other team members, monitor and analyze data infrastructure
 
What You Will Bring

We are looking for a candidate who has:

    •    Working knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 4500, Cisco Routers 2900, 3900 and 4000 Series, Cisco wireless AP’s and controllers, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto network firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
    •    10+ years, specifically in networking
    •    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software design, management information systems, engineering, or a related field
    •    Cisco CCNA/CCNP or higher
    •    Demonstrated knowledge of e.g., SASE solutions, network protocols (EIGRP, OSPF and BGP), VPN and firewall technologies like Palo Alto and ASA.
    •    Proven skills in advance troubleshooting in IP networks and on implementing LAN to LAN VPN connections using Cisco Routers or Cisco ASA Devices
    •    Very good English and Finnish both in writing and spoken
A Plus If You Have
    ▪    Experience in python or another language scripting
