We are now looking for a Corporate Responsibility Specialist to a permanent position. This is a opportunity to contribute to meaningful initiatives that promote our reporting processes and Sustainability Agenda. Preferred location of the role is in Orion's headquarter in Espoo, Finland.

Description of position

We are seeking a Corporate Responsibility Specialist for a permanent position. You have an important role in promoting Orion's Sustainability Agenda. In your position, you will:

• Support Orion's sustainability reporting and assurance process to ensure compliance with sustainability reporting standards
• Engage in data processes and analysis as well as participate in enhancing reporting practices and tools
• Respond to various sustainability data needs from stakeholders, such as customers and investors
• Assist in sustainability communications and stakeholder engagement including sustainability ratings
• Support in ensuring sustainability compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Orion's policies
• Contribute to Orion's Sustainability Agenda in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure progress
• Act as a subject matter expert in sustainability

Corporate Responsibility Specialist works in Orion’s Group-level Corporate Responsibility function and reports to Head of Corporate Responsibility. In a small team of six members, you will have an opportunity to work in a very multidisciplinary way, constantly developing Orion's sustainability performance. The position will entail close collaboration within Corporate Responsibility function as well as with diverse functions and teams across the organization. 

Our newly renovated premises at Orion House in Espoo, Finland offer a great setting for pleasant interaction with colleagues! It is also possible to work partly remotely in accordance with the company’s standard practices.

Description of unit

Corporate Responsibility function, which is part of Orion's Corporate Functions, is responsible for managing and coordinating corporate responsibility and developing it comprehensively in our operations across the value chain. You will contribute to continuously developing the way of doing business in sustainable manner.

Requirements

To succeed as the Corporate Responsibility Specialist, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Academic master's degree in a relevant field
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of professional experience in sustainability, keen interest in the pharmaceutical industry
• Data analytical skills: interest and ability to work with complex and detailed data to derive insights and informed business decisions. Ability to summarize data into understandable formats to support business decisions.
• Accountability, capability to deliver on projects with good project management skills
• Basic regulatory knowledge and keen interest to learn more about sustainability regulations (e.g. CSRD, CSDDD)
• Experience in sustainability reporting and ratings (e.g. Ecovadis, CDP) is a plus
• Fluency in Finnish and English

Primarily, this role requires strong sustainability expertise, effective communications and influencing skills as well as active partnering with subject matter experts and other key stakeholders across the company. You also enjoy working in a team and promote collaboration.
