We are now looking for an enthusiastic Contents Engineer to join our skilled Content Distribution team. The role is offered as a permanent contract and the preferred location is Vaasa, Finland. In accordance with our hybrid work model, you will be able to work partially remotely.

What will you be doing?

As Contents Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to compile and publish technical information based on lifecycle data for Wärtsilä products and solutions. This role is essential for maintaining the continuity and quality of documentation, ensuring a smooth flow of content distribution.

Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to: 

• Compiling and publishing the Spare Part Catalogues for 4-stroke engines and auxiliary equipment.
• Publishing Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&MM) for engines.
• Tuning the content and style of delivery, including overseeing translations.
• Uploading files to Wärtsilä Online.
• Managing and responding to support requests through the Shared Contents Distribution mailbox.
• Ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality documentation standards.

Key qualifications and skills:

• BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in document control principles.
• Keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to driving work forward.
• Service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under time pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable, capable of working both independently and collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Finnish languages skills, both written and spoken.
