We are looking for a Release Coordinator with a main responsibility for materials release and change management. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Release Coordinator, you are responsible for handling design change management for 4-stroke products and maintaining solid communication with global stakeholders. In practice, this means close cooperation with Project Management, Production, Purchasing, Design Management and other functions. You will be leading the weekly design release meeting with the target to communicate and implement design changes for 4-strokes projects in factories globally. We are also developing and improving our processes and way of working, so we can ensure that you will also have a role in continuous improvement actions and other development streams. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the Release and Specification management team in Global Planning with diverse expertise.
Requirements for the position:
- Prepare the release meeting agenda, chair weekly Product Release Meetings and provide clear MoM from the meetings
- Analyse CNs (change notices) and coordinate actions based on the analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders in case of unclarities with release & change management
- Participate in various development projects and continuous improvement related to release & change management agreed with the line manager
- Maintain close cooperation with Project management, production, sourcing, design management and other functions
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:
- B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems (SAP) and PDM (Teamcenter)
- Strong team working skills
- Excellent command of English and Finnish
- Knowledge of 4-stroke engines and ability to understand technical drawings
