We are looking for a Development Engineer with a main responsibility in QHSE development activities The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.

Your role and responsibilities:


As a Development Engineer, your work will include driving impactful development and implementation of process & system improvements in your area of responsibility. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of a continuous improvement-driven Delivery Centre (DC), Sustainable Technology Hub (STH) Quality Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) team with diverse expertise.


Requirements for the position:

  • Independently managing assigned DC STH quality systems and process development initiatives
  • Training our organization to ensure the effective use of developed tools and processes
  • Developing a comprehensive Quality matrix within the Power-Bi environment in collaboration with our team
  • Supporting the development of a robust data structure for the DC STH quality environment
  • Implementing and refining quality assurance processes and procedures


Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:

  • MSc or BSc degree in Engineering
  • Understanding and experience in quality processes
  • Leadership and influencing skills to engage, involve, and commit people to development initiatives
  • Solid knowledge of Power BI report development and data model creation for effective reporting
  • Understanding of SAP quality data and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent in Finnish and English
  • SQL scripting skills are considered a benefit
