You have the possibility to join a team in the center of Wärtsilä’s new Sustainable Technology Hub (STH), which contributes to efforts to advance the global decarbonization of marine and energy by fostering innovation, collaboration, and the development of green technologies using sustainable fuels and digital technologies. Development is key in STH, which also reflects in the team’s day-to-day activities as we want to be the best at what we do and therefore we continuously develop our expertise and way of working.
We are looking for a Controller for a temporary position for 18 months with the preferred start date of 1.6.2025, to Delivery Center STH (Sustainable Technology Hub), Business Control department, within Power Supply/Wärtsilä Marine Power.
In this position, the main tasks include accounting, controlling and reporting, monthly closing and forecasting activities. Tasks that are part of the position are related to inventory and investment management and other balance sheet items.
The location for the position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
Requirements:
- Experience in controlling activities and good financial knowledge
- Strong reporting skills
- SAP knowledge (MM and AM modules)
- Experience in Power BI and good Excel skills
- Change management, problem-solving and decision-making
- Good communication and presentation skills including fluency in English and Finnish or Swedish
- Education/experience: MSc in Business Administration/Economics and/or proven experience in business controlling offices
