Telia Cygate is now looking for a Head of Telia ONE PMO to lead a newly established function, which will streamline all Telia project management activities across three different Telia business units (Telia NetCom & Enterprise Services, Telia Cygate and Telia Inmics-Nebula) to ensure the high-quality standard of our customer project delivery. Telia ONE PMO ensures that all project management processes, operations and quality of deliverables are managed efficiently. The new PMO function will streamline the project management processes, support project planning and cost estimation, set common goals and objectives, manage the overall project portfolio and improve the overall quality of Telia project management.

As the Head of PMO you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of all customer delivery programs and projects within Telia. You will own the Telia project portfolio and ensure that each ongoing project fulfills set standards and client expectations. You ensure that different sized customer projects are planned, coordinated and communicated in a professional manner, keeping Telia key stakeholders regularly informed of progress and ensuring that all stakeholder expectations and client commitments are consistently met.

You develop and maintain project and program management quality control measurements such as project methodologies, processes and tools, and set PI’s for the project managers to ensure that projects are delivered according to set standards and guidelines. You will also manage and forecast all project management resources as well as PM organisations’ knowledge and skills frameworks to enable project managers’ competence and development paths.

This role will report to the Director of Customer Experience Management in Telia Cygate and will lead a matrix organization consisting of three Telia business units’ PMOs as well as program managers and Telia Cygate’s service delivery function. You will be part of Telia ONE Service Management Steering Group and also have active cooperation and interaction with all Telia ONE business units’ Delivery, Pricing and Sales Management organisations.

What we expect

To be suitable for this position, ýou should have strong passion and skills for quality project management, strong experience in people leadership and engagement, and the ability to create organizational capabilities for both immediate and future change.

Your strong project management competence and experience leading the execution of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices will offer a good baseline for this role. You are capable of overseeing a large project portfolio and creating capabilities to keep them on track and within budget and schedule, including internal resource planning.

We also expect previous experience in managing diverse matrix organizations, as well as building and implementing new frameworks and quality controls. You have proven experience in people management and people growth over time, and the ability to lead and motivate through change. You have excellent collaboration skills with different stakeholders and strong ability to set standards, influence and implement new practices. You also need to have resilience and change leadership skills to build rapport between different units and synchronize the way of working.

From an ideal candidate, we expect previous track record in the ICT field. You should have a relevant university degree and strong business acumen. You are fluent in speaking and writing English and Finnish.
