We are now looking for a Development Manager with a main responsibility for developing products and production in DC-STH manufacturing operations. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.

Your role and responsibilities  
 
As a Development Manager, your work will include production process development and implementation as well as product development from the manufacturing point of view. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the Delivery Centre Sustainable Technology Hub team with diverse expertise.
 
Requirements for the position: 

• Develop production in DC-STH manufacturing operations in order to reach safety, quality, delivery and cost targets
• Lead continuous development of methods, processes, products, ways of working and tools consisting of Agile and LEAN methods
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and risk management

 
To be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: 
 

• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Strong track record in production development, project management and manufacturing
