DevOps Engineer




I am Aurelija Vileike and I am leading Content & Communication solutions team in Telia Global Services.
Currently I am looking for an expert to join our team as SharePoint DevOps engineer.
You’ll join a team that combines two services: Storage, DMS, and signing services, along with a set of integrated software solutions designed to enhance communication, collaboration, and information sharing among team members, teams, and stakeholders within the organization.
As SharePoint DevOps engineer, you will…
…. be responsible for SharePoint Online issues, resolving performance and functionality problems. Expertise in SharePoint management, SharePoint Online Central Administration and PowerShell are required. The ideal candidate will have experience with SharePoint Online (SPO), custom web parts, SPFx solutions, and integrations with Microsoft 365 services. Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end development, including JavaScript, C#, Power Platform, alongside the ability to adapt to evolving business needs and collaborate with stakeholders.
Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong combination of soft skills and technical expertise in SharePoint Online (SPO) administration and development. The ideal candidate should have experience troubleshooting and resolving complex performance and functionality issues, including managing 3rd line support tickets. Familiarity with SharePoint admin pages, Azure, PowerShell, SPO management, and Entra ID is essential.
Additionally, the candidate should possess proven experience in SharePoint Online development, including creating custom web parts, extensions, and SPFx solutions. Strong front-end development skills are required, with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Fluent UI (formerly Office UI Fabric), HTML, CSS, and a solid understanding of modern UI/UX principles for SharePoint customizations. Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint, as well as Azure functions and services, is also necessary. The candidate should be adaptable to rapidly changing business requirements and technology updates while demonstrating a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver tailored SharePoint solutions.
In addition to the core requirements, the ideal candidate should have experience with SharePoint Server administration, including SharePoint Central Administration for On-Prem, server farm installation, setup, and configuration, as well as patching, upgrading, and certificate renewals. Proficiency in managing SharePoint service applications like Search, User Profile, and Managed Metadata, along with the ability to migrate and upgrade SharePoint farms, is essential. Knowledge of IIS services, SQL scripting for SharePoint On-Prem, and Windows Server administration, Active Directory, network configurations, and load balancers for SharePoint farms is also desired.
Additionally, backend development skills are a plus, including expertise in building WCF web services, C#, REST APIs, CSOM, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and Graph API.

Monthly salary range for this position: 3522 – 5284 Eur gross plus annual bonus based on your competencies and performance, as well as Telia's results.
