We are now looking for a

Data Engineer for the data analytics team building KONE IoT solutions

The team is responsible for the development of analytics algorithms ranging from the onsite signal processing to the AI solutions on the cloud. Your contribution will be mainly into the KONE 24/7 Connected Services. This position is located in KONE's biggest R&D-site globally (Hyvinkää, Finland).

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the data and necessary preprocessing required for the data to be used in algorithm development and operative systems. Design, Building and managing data pipelines in the cloud environment is crucial in this position. Besides of IT understanding, assuring the quality of data requires understanding of various KONE processes, both official and undocumented. This requires fluent communication with various stakeholders from operations, IT, algorithm development, business, and partners. The seniority of the position will depend on the selected applicant, thus it is worth applying whether you are fresh professional or seasoned expert.

We expect you to have

-M.Sc. or equivalent knowledge in data science, mathematics, computer science, or other related professional area

-Experience in data engineering and/or analytics

-Good communication skills in English

-An ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Considered as advantage

-Experience with corporate scale data solutions, e.g., data quality, data management, etc.

-Experience in planning, constructing, monitoring, and, maintaining data pipelines

-Familiarity with SQL and noSQL databases and cloud architectures in general
